Self-taught artist Mike Jakson was born in Manchester in 1962 and, like many artists, found a love for art at a young age. After high school, got a few specialties, but the desire to become an artist was stronger. He worked as a graphic designer at the same time engaged in art, honing his skills. For many years he worked with watercolors, while not tried acrylic, since he prefers to use acrylic paint and never looks back. Mike Jakson known for its attractive characters in the "hood", in his latest works, he paints seascapes, small boats in the harbor, houses by the sea, with his characteristic humor in art.
