Robert Bissell was born on August 15, 1952, grew up in Somerset, England. After studying graphic design and a master's degree of the Royal College of Art in London, Robert moved to San - Francisco and began a successful career in retail advertising. After fifteen years, he decided to devote all his time to painting. He currently lives in Northern California, holds regular exhibitions in museums and galleries of the United States and Europe.
